The hero is a special Light-Type "troop" that randomly occurs as an event through the Demon's Spin. Just like the Puss In Boots, he will gain one level every time that you defeat him. After defeating him, however, he gives you the choice to spare him, and be rewarded either 5000 gold or a jewel, or to kill him and get the same reward.
